About us

A home can never have enough pillows

More of a gallery than a boutique, YELLOW VELVET endeavors to breathe new life into the too often trivialized "throw pillow".

Exit the everyday object, lost in the décor; enter the cushion as agent provocateur enlightening a home with a daring touch all its own.

No longer a simple couch-accessory but, a unique object for indoor (or outdoor) spaces; that little extra that answers to wandering desires.

An explosion of shapes, colors, fabrics and styles, a perfectly curated set of top and up-and-coming designers, an exclusive selection of retro-pieces and limited editions, YELLOW VELVET has cushions for everyone, to offer as a gift or to keep for oneself.

Creations from Charlene Mullen or those signed by Ting, models by Lindell & Co or Donna Wilson for kids, more than 150 carefully selected references sit side-by-side at YELLOW VELVET, sharing a common link in their use of exquisite materials and a unique story of design.

Every quarter, the section ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS proposes a capsule collection of cushions exclusively created for YELLOW VELVET by a visiting artist. Imagined as a virtual gallery, Ab Fab gives artists a space to experiment with this nascent art form.

Enchanting and engaging, YELLOW VELVET uses clear navigation to transport visitors throughout the site in a virtual flirt with reality, from a mise-en-scene of a series of pillows to a zoom on the detailing of each cushion.

Each pillow is delivered in special packaging designed exclusively for
YELLOW VELVET for impeccable distribution in France and abroad. We call this the Pillow Pack
