Raphaëlle H'limi

Raphaëlle H'limi is a Paris based designer who was awarded the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in 2010 for her original creations. Fascinated by color and experimental textiles, she launched Hellopillow in 2009 based on a modular design concept, an idea that seems timelier than ever. The cushions take their inspiration from origami and children's puzzles and use a clever folding pattern to give them their originality. It’s a poetic piece that can take on different forms: it’s one yet many, fresh yet fun, both precious and timely. She uses the iconic « Liberty » print in her collections which emphasizes an in temporal spirit. Her honed skill as a seamstress is evident in the clever folding pattern she uses for the cushion, which resembles the origami fortuneteller so familiar to children. The manufacturing is entirely "Made in France" using socially responsible practices using natural materials by local artisans.
